Blue Sintered Magnet
Sintered magnets. Magnets produced with a so-called powder metallurgy process. At present, sintered magnets generally refer to rare earth sintered magnets. After the magnet alloy is finely pulverized, the easy magnetization axes are aligned in the magnetic field, and the material is pressed into shape and then sintered. They are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and qualities. The new magnets can be used in a variety of applications, including high-power motors, brushless DC motors, magnetic separation, MRI, sensors, switches, and speakers.

The main advantages of neodymium magnet material
How long will neodymium magnets last?
Neodymium magnets are permanent magnets that lose a small percentage of their performance every 100 years if kept under optimal operating conditions.
There are two factors that shorten the life of a magnet
Hot
If the temperature of the magnet exceeds the maximum operating temperature (e.g. 80℃ for N42 grade neodymium magnets), the magnet will lose its magnetic properties and will not recover after cooling. Samarium cobalt magnets are not as strong as neodymium magnets, but they operate at much higher temperatures, up to 350℃.
Corrosion
If the plating on the magnet is damaged and water gets in, the magnet will rust, which in turn will cause magnetic loss. Both samarium cobalt and ferrite magnets are corrosion resistant, but not as strong as neodymium magnets.
